RECONSTRUCTION OF EFFLUENT CHAMBER AT SPRING CREEK AUXILIARY WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT (AWCPC)

The project involves the reconstruction of the effluent chamber at the Spring Creek Auxiliary Water Pollution Control Plant (AWPCP) located in Brooklyn. Specifically, the existing 1′-2″ concrete deck will be demolished in sections to facilitate the renovation process. To support the deck during demolition, Faresin towers with MASS25 header beams will be utilized. The removal of each concrete section will be executed using a Toyota FGZN20 forklift.

BUILD IT BACK

The Build-it-Back project is an NYC Housing Recovery Operations (HRO) initiative established to support 12,500 families affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. The primary goal of this project is to aid in the recovery process by providing assistance to families in repairing, rebuilding, relocating, and elevating their homes across the impacted zones in New York City.

26TH WARD WASTEWATER TREATMENT RELIABILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

SKANSKA-PICONE enlisted the services of JOADEM Corporation to provide essential QC Special Inspections and Materials testing. The scope of work included the installation of several thousands of piles, necessitating thorough inspections and testing to ensure their structural integrity. Additionally, grout testing and sampling was carried out to guarantee the quality and effectiveness of the grout used in the project.

38-43 12TH STREET

This project involves the construction of a private hotel located at 38-43 12th Street in Long Island City. The proposed hotel will consist of 78 rooms, catering to the accommodation needs of visitors to the area. The building itself will occupy an area of approximately 26,000 square feet and will rise to a height of 9 stories.

MNR 3RD AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

This project involved the demolition and reconstruction of the bridge structures of the 3rd Avenue bridge between 1st street and Fiske Place in Mount Vernon. New street utilities installed include 12” gas mains, 6 conduit electric duct banks, storm and sewer pipe connections, catch basins, traffic controls and street lighting.

PROJECT VNM-413 CONTRACT GRM-527 WO #24, SITE INVESTIGATIONS FOR PROJECT VN-84B

The entire scope of work for this project involves the construction of a new chain link fence and gate within the Fort Hamilton Army Base and demolishing the existing fence. Subsurface utility investigations, sampling and testing the soil for contamination and hazardous material, geotechnical borings. Sampling and testing existing bridge superstructure for incidental asbestos and lead and Hydrant flow testing.
